Job summary

Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust seeks an experienced Dietitian to deliver dietetic services across two facilities: a broad clinic and specialized unit. You will perform comprehensive assessments, identify nutrition needs and plan interventions for individuals with neurodevelopmental and mental health conditions.

The role requires HCPC registration, post‑registration experience in complex neurodevelopmental cases, and strong MDT collaboration to ensure integrated care

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Dietetics/Nutrition & Dietetics, with relevant registration.
• Registered Dietitian with HCPC.
• Post-registration experience and/or training in neurodevelopmental disorders or complex presentations.

Responsibilities

• Provide dietetic assessments and interventions for service users with neurodevelopmental, mental and physical health needs.
• Develop and monitor nutrition plans; supervise prescribed diets and assess effects.
• Collaborate with MDT; attend meetings and coordinate treatment plans.
• Support transition planning from inpatient to community settings; advocate for service users and families.
