The post holder would be expected to support more junior members of the team with supervision. Support will also be provided in developing competencies as part of this post. You will work, learn and develop alongside our therapy colleagues in speech and language, physiotherapy and occupational therapy, based within a new, purpose built building.
Main duties of the job
The successful post holder will provide a Dietetic service oncology and haematology outpatients; this may involve face to face reviews, telephone reviews, virtual reviews, or joint reviews with other health professionals. This will involve independently covering and prioritising a caseload, requiring good time management skills. You will work together with the Band 7 Macmillan Dietitian and the rest of the MDT team, to deliver effective, patient centred care, and should have good communication skills.
We train student Dietitians from the University of Plymouth and the University of Winchester, and this post will be actively involved in student training.
