Modelling and Simulation Scientist

QSP | PK/PD

This is an opportunity to join a growing consultancy business, renowned for their work across emerging biopharma companies, top-tier pharma, and leading research institutes. They have a significant presence in the oncology field, with several long-standing global clients. As part of their growth, they are recruiting an experienced Modelling and Simulation Scientist to join the Quantitative Pharmacology Team.

You will have the opportunity to work fully remotely, with an option for an office in Oxford! You will lead clients on their journey to success, applying your expertise in various modelling techniques such as QSP, PK/PD. Clients will range from small to enterprise organizations with specialized research areas.

Core responsibilities

1. Deliver high-quality quantitative pharmacology modelling and simulation projects
2. Analyse and interpret experimental data from preclinical and clinical studies
3. Develop, refine, or implement existing models such as PK/PD, popPK, PBPK, and QSP models
4. Work directly with customers to understand project scope

Core requirements

1. PhD in a field involving mathematical/statistical modelling of biology or pharmacology
2. At least 2 years of experience in mathematical modelling & simulations
3. Experience in R and MATLAB
4. Experience with data science, including data manipulation, analysis, and visualization
