Job description

As a Senior Medical Editor you will be joining the world’s largest & most comprehensive clinical research organisation, powered by healthcare intelligence.

Senior Medical Editor will be QCing regulatory documents and will be dedicated to a single sponsor.


What you will be doing:

QC Specialist (Copy Editor)

  • Responsible for the overall Quality Control (QC) review of various types of regulatory documents (protocols, amendments, CSRs, pre-IND briefing books, clinical overviews, Module 2 summary documents, etc)
  • Assumes compliance with International Conference on Harmonization (ICH), WHO style guide and sponsor's

in-house standards

  • Share expertise with Medical Writing colleagues and others in the Oncology SBU via targeted training/presentations with a view to assisting writers author quality into their documents
  • Develop client's Oncology SBU style guide to be used in conjunction with the WHO style guide

You are:

  • Native-English speaker or mastery of English language that is on a similar level to a native speaker
  • Degree scientific discipline strongly preferred
  • Experience in Oncology strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years of editorial and/or QC/QA experience
  • Strong skills and proficiency in document review
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Excellent presentation skills, computer skills, and the ability to relate on a professional level with fellow colleagues
  • Advanced understanding of the conduct of clinical trials, clinical-related systems, and procedures, and applicable regulations
