A healthcare provider in Scarborough is seeking a full-time Physiotherapist to join their community care team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting patients in their homes, managing a diverse caseload, and providing specialist physiotherapy interventions. Candidates should have a degree in Physiotherapy, relevant professional experience, and a passion for community healthcare. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, self‑motivated & proactive Physiotherapist, with excellent communication, decision making & caseload management skills. To work in the Urgent Community response and intermediate care service, supporting Scarborough and Ryedale localities.
This role will support patients to remain at home, reduce hospital admission and support discharge. Enabling patients to be as independent as possible by providing specialist physiotherapy assessment & interventions to patients with a wide variety of clinical conditions in their own homes & care homes within the local community.
To succeed in this role you will need to be passionate about community healthcare provision, able to tackle key priorities with enthusiasm & have the tenacity to deliver in an ever changing environment. As a senior therapist you will have management and supervision responsibilities for junior staff & students.
