We are excited to announce a new opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic, and motivated pharmacist to join our Critical Care and Women / Children’s pharmacy teams at NHS Fife. NHS Fife's Critical Care services include an Intensive Care Unit and Medical and Surgical High-Dependency Units. The Women’s and Children’s (W+C) services provide care for paediatric, neonatal, obstetric, and gynaecology patients. You will be part of a supportive pharmacy team dedicated to developing services for these patients.

As a Specialist Pharmacist, you will work within a multidisciplinary team to improve the quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness of prescribing. You will contribute to formulary submissions, review, and develop clinical guidelines. You will provide clinical pharmacy services and support the strategic and operational development of the pharmacy service at NHS Fife.
Requirements include relevant post-registration experience, sound clinical knowledge, excellent communication and organisational skills, comprehensive IT skills, and either a postgraduate qualification in clinical pharmacy/prescribing sciences or equivalent experience, or be an independent prescriber, or be able to complete these within an agreed timescale.
The NHS Fife Pharmacy and Medicines Directorate is undergoing transformation and serves a population of approximately 380,000. The team includes around 300 staff working across hospitals, general practices, mental health services, and specialist teams. We value partnership working and aim to deliver high-quality care for everyone in Fife.
Fife offers excellent transport links, being only 30 minutes to 1 hour from major cities.
