We are seeking enthusiastic and committed clinical pharmacists to join our friendly team at Royal Glamorgan Hospital to cover maternity leave within the department as a 12-month fixed-term/secondment opportunity.
Royal Glamorgan Hospital is located in Llantrisant, near the M4 motorway, providing easy access to Cardiff and the Brecon Beacons.
This role offers the chance to develop advanced clinical knowledge and enhance your clinical decision-making skills, allowing you to work with greater autonomy and responsibility.
Applicants should possess excellent communication skills, a passion for improvement, patient-focused care, and the ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team.
The successful candidate will rotate through various clinical specialties, providing pharmacy services to medicine and surgery departments.
The Medicines Management directorate is innovative, integrating Primary and Secondary Care management of medicines. The hospital features automated pharmacy systems, comprehensive Medicines Management services, and an electronic discharge system. Pharmacist-led clinics are well-established, and pharmacy staff are valued members of clinical multidisciplinary teams.
The successful applicant will also contribute to the Emergency Duty Service.
