NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join the CAMHS team in Renfrewshire. The post is a fixed-term 12-month contract, working Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00, within a multi‑agency framework to support complex caseloads.

The role requires HCPC registration, a relevant degree, and evidence of specialist OT skills in mental health and/or youth services. The department offers extensive development opportunities and NHS benefits.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Registration with HCPC mandatory.
• Practice education qualification or willingness to obtain one.
• Mandatory training including fire safety and aggression management.

Responsabilités

• Work within Renfrewshire CAMHS in a multi-agency structure.
• Independently manage a caseload of complex cases as care manager.
• Assess OT needs using specialist skills to plan treatment and rehabilitation.
• Assess service users to determine need for occupational therapy intervention.
• Collaborate with service users to identify goals within the care plan.
