A exciting opportunity has arisen at the Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust for full time Specialist Cardiac Physiologist in the Cardio-respiratory Department.
We require a highly skilled and driven Physiologist to be part of our comprehensive and dynamic Cardio-respiratory Department. We would require you to provide experienced and multi-skilled, hands-on provision in the complete range of Cardiac investigations provided by The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust.
You will also provide support for specialist echo techniques including stress and contrast echo, in addition to performing/reporting routine TTE and provide support for Transoesophageal echo and other invasive procedures.
You will perform 12 lead/exercise ECG, holter analysis, Cardiology support during CPEX and physiological measurements during diagnostic angiography.
Knowledge and some experience of basic pacing and Cardiac Device therapy is preferred.

The Cardiorespiratory Department is a multidisciplinary team of over 40 members staff working across 3 sites. We work closely together to provide a highly skilled, dynamic service for the people of Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin. We work closely with other disciplines but remain focused on enhancing Physiologist led services where we are able.
We require a skilled Physiologist for our busy Echocardiography Service. We expect the suitable candidate to be working towards BSE accreditation and aiming to provide a high level of care and expertise. The applicant should also be proficient in ECG interpretation to include Holter analysis and exercise testing.
