Job summary

Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting two Specialist Biomedical Scientists to join the Cellular Pathology team. These are full-time permanent posts based at Milton Keynes, with 37.5 hours per week and flexible working considered.

Candidates must be HCPC registered, hold a BSc in Biomedical Science and have completed the IBMS Specialist Portfolio in Cellular Pathology. You will perform routine and specialist histopathology and diagnostic cytology testing, supporting

Qualifications

• HCPC registered with a BSc in Biomedical Science and IBMS Specialist Portfolio in Cellular Pathology.
• Ability to work in a busy Cellular Pathology service.

Responsibilities

• Produce routine and specialist histopathology and diagnostic cytology testing.
• Work as part of a team to deliver a supervised diagnostic service meeting accreditation standards.
• Support regulatory compliance including ISO 15189 and HTA.
