A leading healthcare provider in Cambridge is seeking audiologists for essential roles delivering clinical activity in hospital and community clinics. Applicants should have an MSc in Audiology, experience with adult and paediatric rehabilitation, and the ability to work independently. This role supports the ENT service delivery model and offers opportunities for training and professional development within a dynamic team environment.
We are advertising three new band 7 posts to complement our existing team. These are important roles to deliver key clinical activity in both hospital and community clinics. You will be well-supported within the team and the wider Trust, in a large training department with a strong research programme.
Posts: Permanent post B7 35 hours per week; two 7-month B7 posts 37.5 hours per week. We are seeking individuals with experience in complex adult audiological testing and rehabilitation, or paediatric assessment and habilitation. You will contribute to an audiology-first ENT service delivery model as part of our ENT recovery support.
If you can demonstrate exceptional clinical abilities and a proven track record of service development, we would be interested to hear from you. You must have excellent communication skills and a desire to find creative and effective solutions for patients with a variety of hearing and balance problems. You will be a competent practitioner and able to work without supervision in the main department and at satellite clinics. You will be expected to develop specialist expertise in some of our complex clinics, with training provided. The department is a training environment and you would be expected to contribute to training junior staff and PTP and STP trainees at BSc and MSc level.
You will have at least a BSc or MSc in Audiology or equivalent and will already have gained experience in a clinical setting. You must be AHCS/HCPC registered or working towards this.
