Job summary

Kisimul Group is seeking a Speech and Language Therapist to join a new specialist school in Haverhill, Suffolk for pupils aged 8-16 with autism and related needs. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based therapy, support EHCP outcomes and promote functional learning across classroom and everyday activities.

Qualifications

• Registered Speech and Language Therapist with HCPC and RCSLT membership.
• Experience or strong interest in autism and learning disabilities.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary school setting with families and teachers.

Responsibilities

• Assess speech, language and communication needs.
• Deliver personalised therapy through individual and group sessions.
• Collaborate with teachers, families and carers.
• Contribute to EHCP outcomes and learning plans.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and reports.
• Promote evidence-based practice and supervise others as needed.
• Engage in professional development and service improvement.
