Special Resource Provision Teaching Assistant / SEN Teaching Assistant - SN2

My client is seeking a compassionate and dynamic Teaching Assistant to join a specialist provision team helping pupils thrive both socially and academically.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting children with Autism Spectrum Condition and Social Communication Interaction Difficulties.
  • Working 1:1, in small groups, and within the wider classroom setting.
  • Creating a positive, calm, and engaging environment tailored to individual needs.
  • Managing challenging behaviour with care, consistency, and skill.
  • Assisting with personal care where required.

About You

  • Be able to do the job as described.
  • Confident supporting children with ASC and SCID in both group and 1:1 settings.
  • Able to manage complex behaviour with calmness and compassion.
  • Open to providing personal care as part of daily duties.
  • Flexible and imaginative with a kind, nurturing approach.
