This role is ideal for a graduate with a 2:2 degree or higher. While experience working with children is preferred, it’s not a necessity. Experience supporting children with ASD, behavioural issues, and learning difficulties would be highly beneficial. This Graduate Teaching Assistant position offers an excellent stepping stone for anyone looking to pursue a career as a qualified teacher.
The Graduate Teaching Assistant appointed will assist with young people’s learning across the national curriculum in core subjects such as Math’s and English to foundation subjects such as PE and Music. Additionally, they will provide support to children with special educational needs (SEN), ensuring that all students receive the tailored guidance they need to thrive in the classroom.
