The Scottish Ambulance Service invites applications for Special Operations Response Teams (SORT) Paramedics in Johnstone. This full-time, permanent role operates under NHS Scotland with challenging field duties.

You must be HCPC registered with a minimum of 2 years frontline experience post-NQP. Training includes CBRN, technical rescue, and SOAR course to enhance specialist capabilities.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered Paramedics with a minimum of 2 years frontline experience post NQP period at close of application.
• Demonstrate significant frontline experience and maintain high clinical competency.
• Previous SORT/CBRN/NBC experience is advantageous but training will be provided.

Responsabilités

• Work in hazardous environments including Hazardous Materials, CBRN, MTA and water operations.
• Support multi‑agency operations and major incident responses.
• Contribute to security operations and Tactical Medical Operations when required.
• Crew SORT Response Units and undertake continual specialist training.
