Job summary

Manor School in North West London is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support pupils with complex communication, behaviour and sensory processing needs in our vibrant special school.

The role is across three Brent sites (Kensal Rise, Neasden and Kilburn). You will work in partnership with class teachers to support learning, with opportunities for professional development and a calm, purposeful environment.

Previous SEND experience is essential and enthusiasm for inclusive education is valued.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of SEND is essential.
• Experience of working in a specialist setting is desirable.
• Experience of supporting children with special needs.

Responsibilities

• Work in a provision supporting children with complex communication, behaviour and sensory processing needs.
• Support children with special needs in daily learning activities.
• Collaborate with class teachers and other staff to implement individual education plans.
