Special Needs Teaching Assistant (PMLD), Chester

Prospero Teaching is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) at a school near Chester. This is a full-time role starting in February. Responsibilities include supporting children with PMLD on a 1-1 basis and administering personal care.

The position is initially temporary, with the potential for permanent employment for successful candidates.

Experience working with special needs in a school setting is preferred; however, personal or professional experience supporting individuals with complex needs is highly valued. The ideal candidate should be resilient, as the role involves managing challenging behaviors from young people who may be non-verbal and have a wide spectrum of needs.
