Job summary

Qualiteach Education Group Ltd in Croydon is seeking a patient Special Needs Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 4-19 in a specialist setting. You will work with teachers, therapists and support staff to provide 1:1 and small-group support and help pupils access learning toward EHCP outcomes.

The role focuses on autism, severe learning difficulties and complex needs, promoting independence and positive behaviour in a structured, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with SEN.
• Experience with autism, SLD, or PMLD desirable.
• Confidence supporting communication, behaviour and learning.
• Full time availability ASAP.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils.
• Work with teachers, therapists and support staff.
• Help pupils access learning and progress toward EHCP outcomes.
