Job summary

Qualiteach Education Group is helping a Croydon SEN school recruit a Special Needs Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 4-19 in a dedicated setting. You will deliver 1:1 and small-group support, collaborating with teachers, therapists and support staff to help pupils access learning and work toward EHCP outcomes, including those with autism, SLD, and complex needs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN.
• Experience with autism, SLD, or PMLD desirable.
• Confident in supporting communication, behaviour and learning.
• Full-time role commencing ASAP.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils aged 4-19.
• Work with teachers, therapists and support staff to meet EHCP outcomes.
• Promote independence and positive behaviour in a structured environment.
• Support a range of complex needs within a specialist setting.
