Job summary

Affinity Partnerships is seeking a Special Needs Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional learning needs, with a focus on SEMH, autism, challenging behaviour and learning difficulties. You will work with the classroom teacher and SENCO to tailor approaches to each child.

The role involves 1:1 support under an individual education plan, and offers safeguarding training, CPD and professional development, plus flexible pay options.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with additional needs.
• Ability to work with SEN/SEMH learners.
• Enthusiasm to learn and develop professionally.

Responsibilities

• Guide the child's learning alongside the classroom teacher and SENCO.
• Provide 1:1 support under an individual education plan.
• Support in behavioural management and social–emotional learning goals.
