Job summary

UCM Recruitment is seeking a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN school in Merton, supporting pupils with autism in a structured and nurturing environment. This is a full-time role via agency, starting immediately and located near Morden Station.

You will work with EYFS or Primary pupils, collaborating with experienced SEN staff to foster communication, routines and independence, contributing to a calm classroom and safeguarding children’s welfare.

We are seeking a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant (EYFS or Primary) to join a specialist SEN school in Merton, supporting pupils with autism in a structured and nurturing environment.

You will be:

• Supporting pupils with autism across EYFS or primary age groups
• Working closely with experienced SEN staff in a structured setting

We are looking for someone dedicated, patient, and passionate about working with children with autism. Previous experience in a similar SEN setting is highly desirable.

You will need:

• A fully enhanced Child and Adult DBS
• Full-time availability (5 days a week)
• To be available to start immediately
