Job summary

UCM Recruitment is seeking a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant for a specialist school in Merton to support pupils with autism in EYFS or primary classes.

The role is full-time, with DBS required and a structured, nurturing environment. Immediate start is preferred and prior SEN experience is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar SEN setting is highly desirable.
• A fully enhanced DBS is required.

We are seeking a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant (EYFS or Primary) to join a specialist SEN school in Merton, supporting pupils with autism in a structured and nurturing environment.

This is a full-time role.

You will be:

• Supporting pupils with autism across EYFS or primary age groups
• Working closely with experienced SEN staff in a structured setting
• Helping children develop communication, routine, and independence
• Contributing to a calm, supportive learning environment

We are looking for someone dedicated, patient, and passionate about working with children with autism. Previous experience in a similar SEN setting is highly desirable.

You will need:

• A fully enhanced Child and Adult DBS
• Full-time availability (5 days a week)
• To be available to start immediately
