Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work across secondary schools in NW2 and surrounding areas. You will support students with Special Educational Needs, needing someone enthusiastic, reliable and confident.

Prior SEN experience is essential. This temporary, full-time role runs from September 2026 to the end of the academic year, with hours 8:00 am–4:00 pm and a minimum daily rate of GBP 90.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN is essential.
• Experience supporting pupils with a range of additional needs.
• A degree is desirable.
• Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold the Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online Update Service, or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child-related references covering the last two years
