Hours per week: 31 (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8:30am - 3:00pm; Wednesday 8:30am - 4:00pm)
Contract type: Permanent - term time only plus 4 days

We are recruiting a Special Needs Teaching Assistant to work in small classes within a special school setting. Candidates should have experience with children with various special needs and be dedicated practitioners committed to making a difference. The role involves supporting pupils in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 as part of a team of specialists to enhance teaching and learning for pupils with additional needs.

Chellow Heights is a large special school located across two sites, offering exceptional learning environments including outdoor facilities, multi-sensory rooms, soft play areas, food technology rooms, and sensory support rooms.
Our West Site features additional resources such as a hydrotherapy pool, rebound therapy room, music therapy room, and jungle gym (soft play).
The South Site, smaller in size, benefits from extensive outdoor space.
