Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience working with pupils with special educational needs
• Strong understanding of diverse learning styles and inclusive education practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with pupils, parents and staff

Responsibilities

• Teaching a small class of primary-aged pupils with special educational needs
• Creating individualised education plans (IEPs) tailored to each pupil's needs
• Implementing creative and engaging teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles
• Using a range of specialised resources and equipment to support pupil learning
• Collaborating with support staff, therapists, and parents to provide a holistic approach to education
• Assessing pupil progress and providing regular feedback to pupils, parents, and leadership
• Contributing to an inclusive and nurturing ethos, promoting positive behaviour and well-being
• Participating in professional development to enhance skills in special education
