Job summary

Protocol Education Limited is seeking a dedicated LSA/TA to support students with Moderate and Severe needs in a Chelmsford school. The role involves 1:1 and small-group support to boost engagement and attainment, with a focus on building relationships and consistency between school and home.

Full-time, 8:30am - 3:30pm, temp to permanent opportunity. No prior school experience required; graduates and healthcare assistants are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people in education or care settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport with students.
• Demonstrates patience and adaptability in a classroom or support setting.

Responsibilities

• Support students with moderate to severe needs in small groups or 1:1 to raise engagement and attainment.
• Develop and refine LSA skills while following school practices.
• Collaborate with parents to ensure consistency between school and home.
• Maintain a friendly, proactive approach to teaching and learning and build positive relationships with each child.
