Vision for Education is seeking a Special Needs Support Assistant to work with SEND learners in Harrogate partner schools. The role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm, supporting learning and pastoral needs as part of a dedicated support team.
Experience with children or young people is essential, with references obtainable. An Enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service is preferred or to be undertaken.
£93 - £110 Per Day

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: recent experience obtained within the last 4 years working with children, young people or vulnerable adults, ideally within a school, nursery, care, childcare, youth work, or play settings. We must be able to obtain references from these roles.
We are currently seeking additional Special Needs Support Assistant to work within our partner schools in Harrogate. This role involves supporting young people with SEND. The hours of work required are 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday.
The Special Needs Support Assistant involves supporting young people with their learning and pastoral needs. These may include Autism, PMLD, Complex needs, Mobility, SEMH. Personal care skills and experience are advantageous.
This work would involve working with a small number of schools in the Harrogate area, working specifically with SEND learners. We are continually seeking quality caring staff members, who may eventually wish to become full time or even permanent support staff members.
