Job summary

Luma Education Recruitment Ltd in Burnley is seeking a Special Needs Secondary Teacher to join an independent school that supports pupils with complex SEMH needs aged 5 to 18. You will plan and deliver adapted KS3 and KS4 lessons in small classes, promote positive behaviour, and build trusting relationships with pupils.

The role is full-time, term-time only, starting ASAP. This temp-to-perm position offers competitive daily rates (£180–£250) and ongoing CPD opportunities.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required.
• Experience teaching KS3 and KS4.
• Experience working with pupils with SEMH needs.

Special Needs Secondary Teacher – Burnley

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, term time only

Contract: Temp to perm

Special Needs Secondary Teacher required to teach Key Stage 3 and 4 at an independent special school in Burnley, Lancashire. Pupils have complex needs including social, emotional and mental health needs and are taught in small classes. This is a full-time temp to perm role, term time only, starting ASAP at £180 – £250 per day.

What You'll Need
