Woodlands School, part of Bourne Education Trust, seeks a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join the satellite provision at Cranmere Primary School, Esher, delivering targeted learning support for pupils with special needs. The role involves working under the supervising teacher, planning and carrying out intervention programmes, and supporting pupils with social and emotional development.

The position is term-time (39 weeks) and permanent, based at the Esher site with occasional travel across

Competenze

• Ability to demonstrate safeguarding of children.
• Evidence of CPD participation.

Mansioni

• Work as part of a team under the direction of the responsible Teacher to support teaching provision, development and learning.
• Facilitate learning of individual pupils and groups, setting high expectations and promoting positive attitudes to learning.
• Prepare, plan and deliver specific intervention programmes, adjusting activities according to pupil response and need.
• Promote and support development of pupils’ social and emotional needs.
