Woodlands School in Esher is seeking a Teaching Assistant Level 1 for the satellite provision at Cranmere Primary School. The role supports pupils with special needs, under the direction of the class teacher, during term-time hours.

The post offers training and development opportunities, a generous pension, flexible policies, and a focus on wellbeing. 29 hours 10 minutes per week, 39 weeks per year, permanent contract.

Formación

• GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent) is required.
• Evidence of effective continuous professional development.
• Awareness and commitment to safeguarding children.

Responsabilidades

• Work as part of a team under the direction of the class Teacher to support teaching provision and learning for pupils.
• Facilitate learning for individual pupils and groups, set high expectations and promote positive attitudes to learning.
• Prepare, plan and deliver specific intervention programmes, adjusting activities to pupil response.
• Promote and support the development of pupils' social and emotional needs.
