The Oaks Secondary School is seeking two Health Care & Education Assistants to join our team during lunchtimes. The roles are part-time (10 hours per week), 11.30am to 1.30pm, term-time only, with a temporary contract until August 2027 and potential extension subject to funding.

Applicants should have an NVQ Level 2 in Childcare or an equivalent qualification and be able to support pupils with special educational needs, including personal care and mobility.

Qualifikationen

• NVQ Level 2 in Childcare or equivalent reprovised qualification required.
• Support pupils with a range of special educational needs and assist with hygiene and personal care.
• Safeguarding checks and enhanced DBS in accordance with safer recruitment practices.

Aufgaben

• Support pupils with special educational needs during lunchtime activities.
• Assist with general hygiene and personal care routines (toileting, feeding, dressing).
• Assist with safe positioning and movement of pupils with physical disabilities and contribute to classroom learning under supervision.
