Job summary

Prospero Teaching is recruiting an ECT Teacher to join fantastic SEN schools in the Bury area. The role is full-time, with weekly pay between 750 and 1,000 depending on experience and responsibilities, and a standard school day from 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Start date is Monday 14th September 2026. You will deliver engaging lessons, plan and assess in line with the national curriculum, and work closely with staff, parents and carers to ensure progress and pupil well-being.

Qualifications

• ECT with commitment to safeguarding
• Strong communication and classroom management
• Willingness to learn and grow in SEN settings

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons across KS1–KS3 depending on specialism
• Plan and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum and school policies
• Create a positive classroom environment to support all learners
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and carers to monitor progress and pupil well-being
