Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking an ECT Teacher in Rochdale to join our partner special needs schools. You will deliver engaging lessons across KS1–KS3 as appropriate, plan and assess in line with policy, and foster a positive learning environment.

Start date is 1st September 2026, with full-time hours, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm. Right to work in the UK is required and DBS checks or updates may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons across KS1–KS3 depending on placement.
• Plan and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum and school policies.
• Create a positive, stimulating classroom environment that supports all learners.
• Work closely with colleagues, parents and carers to ensure progress and pupil well-being.
