Job summary

Newstaff Education is seeking experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to provide supply cover across Leighton Buzzard and surrounding areas. You will support pupils with a range of needs, including challenging behaviour, ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and complex learning needs.

The role includes day-to-day and short-term supply, 1:1 and small-group support, and opportunities for longer-term positions. Strong SEN experience is essential, with experience in schools or education settings.

Qualifications

• Strong, recent SEN experience – essential
• Experience working within a school or education setting
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
• Relevant safeguarding checks and references

SEN TEACHING ASSISTANTS WANTED – SUPPLY COVER

Newstaff Education are looking for experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join our supply team and support schools across the local area.

We need TAs with strong SEN experience who are confident supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including challenging behaviour, ASD, ADHD, SEMH and complex learning needs.

• Supporting learning, behaviour and emotional regulation
• Opportunities for longer-term and permanent positions
• Flexible work to suit your availability

Requirements

You will need:

• Strong, recent SEN experience – essential
• Experience working within a school or education setting
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one

Car driver would be preferred but not essential
