Job summary

Remedy Recruitment Group is recruiting for a Special Educational Needs Learning Support Assistant in Billericay. The role is full-time, long-term with an ASAP start, focusing on 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN across primary and secondary levels.

The successful candidate will support communication, emotional regulation and engagement, following EHCP targets and working closely with educators and external professionals to maintain a calm, positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEN, ASD, ADHD or complex needs.
• Calm, patient and resilient approach.
• Comfortable working across both primary and secondary age groups.
• Confident supporting non-verbal or limited communication pupils.
• Willing to support personal care where needed.
• Strong team player with a proactive attitude.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

Responsibilities

• Providing 1:1 and small group support across primary and secondary classes.

Are you a patient, caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistant looking to start a new role as soon as possible where you can genuinely make a difference?

We are working with a well-resourced and highly supportive SEN school in Billericay that caters for both primary and secondary-aged pupils. They are looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their specialist provision as soon as possible.
