Job summary

Aspire People in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking passionate Unqualified Teaching Assistants to support pupils with a range of additional needs across specialist schools. You’ll help pupils feel safe, included and confident in their learning, while gaining valuable classroom experience.

No formal qualifications are required; the right attitude, patience and willingness to learn matter most. You’ll work with experienced staff, receive guidance, and have opportunities across North Staffordshire.

Qualifications

• Passion for supporting children with additional needs.
• Willingness to learn from experienced staff.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with a range of special educational needs to feel safe, included and confident in their learning.
• Assist with communication, social interaction, and classroom routines.
• Support a variety of needs including ASC, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language, learning difficulties, PMLD and complex needs.
• Provide tailored learning support and assist with personal care where required.
