Job summary

Aspire People is seeking SEN Teaching Assistants to work across Stoke-on-Trent in mainstream schools with SEN hubs and specialist SEN schools. You will support pupils with diverse additional needs, helping them access learning and build confidence.

SEN Teaching Assistants Required - Stoke-on-Trent

Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to work in both mainstream schools with SEN hubs and specialist SEN schools across Stoke-on-Trent.

The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide vital support to pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and achieve your full potential.

You may be supporting pupils with:
  • Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
  • ADHD
  • Speech, Language and Communication Needs
  • SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs)
  • Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties
  • Complex Needs
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with children or young people (school-based experience is desirable but not essential)
  • A caring, patient, and adaptable approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs
