Protocol Education Limited is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support children with a range of special educational needs in small class settings. You will help pupils develop communication, social skills and independence through personalised learning activities.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with autism, speech and language difficulties and additional learning needs.
• Work in small classrooms of 6–8 pupils.
• Provide one-to-one support to help learners achieve goals.
• Develop communication, vocabulary and comprehension using visual resources and practical activities.
• Assist with tailored literacy and numeracy lessons.
• Encourage social interaction, emotional development and independence.
• Participate in activities such as art, music, swimming, cooking, K9 therapy and sensory play.
