Job summary

James Hall is seeking a Deli Assistant to be the heart of great service and great food. You’ll prepare and serve freshly made products, from ready-to-go items to made-to-order options, in a welcoming environment while upholding high quality and safety standards.

In a team setting, you’ll be friendly, reliable and detail‑oriented, adapting to a busy shop floor and always following hygiene practices and allergen controls.

Working as part of a supportive team, you’ll help create a welcoming environment while keeping our high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.

• Providing friendly, helpful service and sharing product knowledge with customers
• Preparing, baking, and presenting our tasty range of deli products
• Ensuring shelves and counters are fully stocked and attractively displayed
• Following food safety standards including allergen awareness, labelling, and audits
• Keeping equipment and work areas clean, safe, and sanitised at all times
