Job summary

LSC invites applications for enthusiastic Spanish Teachers to deliver engaging language lessons in primary schools across London. You’ll join a team dedicated to making Spanish fun, interactive and memorable for young learners.

The role covers KS1–KS2 with 16 hours per week (Tue & Wed, 8:30am–4:30pm) at Colindale, London. Enjoy a competitive daily rate (£140–£165) and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Degree in Spanish or a related subject.
• At least 2 years’ experience teaching Spanish within UK primary schools.
• Proven track record of delivering engaging and effective lessons.
• Strong knowledge of the Spanish language and culture.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• A genuine enthusiasm for inspiring young learners.
• Desirable: QTS or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and interactive Spanish lessons to KS1 and KS2 pupils.
• Help pupils develop speaking, listening and understanding of Spanish.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom where every child can thrive.
• Adapt teaching style to different schools and learners.
• Work with school staff and the wider LSC team.

Hours: 16 hours per week (2 days - Tuesday & Wednesday), 8:30am–4:30pm

The Role:

As one of our Spanish Teachers, you’ll deliver engaging and interactive Spanish lessons to Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 pupils, helping children develop their language skills, confidence and appreciation of Spanish language and culture.
