Job summary

Archangel Lightworks Ltd. is hiring a Project Manager to oversee hardware and software development across our optical communications domains from R&D through to production handover.

You will coordinate with the Programme Manager and Engineering Manager to deliver on time, within scope and budget, and plan international test campaigns. The role requires full-lifecycle product development experience in a high-tech, R&D-driven environment and strong stakeholder management with public bodies.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable full-lifecycle product development experience in hardware and/or software within a R&D-heavy organisation.
• Familiar with stage-gate development from R&D to production handover.
• Strong stakeholder management with commercial and public bodies.
• Experience with project finances, forecasts, claims and audits.
• PM accreditation or equivalent practical project management expertise.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned product developments to defined scope, timeline and budget.
• Collaborate with engineering to translate requirements into clear plans.
• Work with Technical Leads to align development plans with the backlog.
• Identify and manage project risks and cross-functional interdependencies.
• Monitor forecasts and finances; input into programme and company tracking.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate documentation reviews and change control processes.
