Job summary

EVONA is seeking an Avionics Hardware Engineer to join its space systems team in the United Kingdom. This is a hands-on role that will own hardware from concept through lab bring-up to flight-ready boards and harness assemblies.

You will design PCBs, validate high-speed interfaces, work with FPGA/Linux-based modules, and collaborate with software, systems and mechanical engineers across integration and testing.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional electronics or avionics hardware experience.
• Experience with FPGA, Linux-based SoCs, NVIDIA modules, PCB simulation or space-rated/high-reliability electronics is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Designing, laying out, bringing up and validating complex PCBs.
• Developing avionics and board-level architectures.
• Working with high-speed digital interfaces and signal integrity.
• Hardware debugging, fault finding and system-level testing.
• Using oscilloscopes, logic analysers and other lab equipment.
• Building and testing electrical harnesses and assemblies.
• Supporting environmental and qualification testing.
• Collaborating with software, systems and mechanical engineers during integration.
