Job summary

ClearSpace in London is seeking a Senior Electrical System Engineer to join our Electrical team, focusing on avionics architecture, interfaces and system-wide integration across current missions and future programmes.

You will contribute from concept through assembly, integration, test and in‑orbit operations, collaborating with software, structures and mission teams to deliver robust electrical systems for space missions.

Qualifications

• Degree in aerospace or electrical engineering (BSc/MSc).
• 5+ years in the space industry within systems/avionics or power electronics.
• Experience with system-level requirements and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of reviews (PDR/CDR) and engineering governance.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical system architectures and detailed electronics design from concept to integration.
• Manage requirements engineering and electrical interfaces with onboard hardware.
• Define validation, verification and test plans for electrical subsystems.
• Coordinate with internal teams, customers and subcontractors throughout the lifecycle.
