Job summary

Platform Recruitment is seeking a Hardware Engineer for a cutting-edge avionics hardware team in London. The role offers hands-on ownership across the hardware lifecycle and close collaboration with software and mechanical engineering teams.

You will design and develop complex electronics, lead bring-up, testing, validation, and contribute to architecture and technical decisions. FPGA/SoC experience is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Electronics/hardware experience.
• Strong PCB design and hardware bring-up experience.
• Good understanding of digital electronics.
• Hands-on with electronic assemblies.
• Experience taking hardware through development and testing.
• FPGA, embedded systems, or SoC experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex electronic hardware.
• Work across PCB design, bring-up and testing.
• Contribute to hardware architecture and technical decisions.
• Debug and troubleshoot hardware in the lab.
• Collaborate with software, mechanical and systems engineers.
• Support testing, validation and qualification.
• Take ownership of projects from early design through to final product.
