Job summary

Expleo is seeking AIT Test Technicians to join our team for Portsmouth-based work on satellite test campaigns. You will execute electrical and functional tests on engineering test benches and spacecraft in a cleanroom, following defined procedures and work orders.

Responsibilities include setting up tests, reporting results and supporting test reviews. The role requires willingness to rotate shifts with premium pay and travel within the UK, with occasional Europe travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an HNC or NVQ Level 4 in an Electrical Engineering related discipline or relevant experience.
• Ability to understand/follow test procedures, payload documentation and EGSE documentation.
• Experience with integration and acceptance testing.
• Experience in a high-quality production environment and cleanroom.

Responsibilities

• Perform test operations including integration, setup, validation and acceptance testing.
• Install and calibrate test set-ups and connect equipment.
• Execute tests per client procedures and support first-level troubleshooting.
• Escalate to technical support when tests deviate from nominal sequence.
• Disconnect, remove and store test fixtures and archive results.
• Work in an ISO 8 cleanroom environment.
