Job summary

The Alexander Hotel Collection is seeking a part-time Spa Therapist for our Utopia Spa at Rowhill Grange Hotel, near Dartford. You will perform facial and body treatments, manage client consultations and contribute to a premium guest experience.

Candidates should have NVQ Level 2/3 Beauty Therapy and be able to work shifts across weekends, with training and progression opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 and Level 3 Beauty Therapy are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide a full range of facial, manicure, pedicure and body treatments.
• Greet clients and manage consultations and information forms.
• Guide guests through the customer journey and explain treatments.
• Promote retail products and beauty regimes to enhance guest experience.
• Liaise with Spa Receptionists for correct billing and scheduling.

£21,149.44 + £1,600 bonus (£22,749.44 OTE) + monthly service charge payment

Our luxury Utopia Spa at the 4 Star Rowhill Grange Hotel is part of Alexander Hotels a private collection of quality hotels of distinction just outside London.

Spread across 2 floors of pools, bubble tub, sauna and steam rooms, it offers relaxation to guests by the pool, in the hydrotherapy pool or under the monsoon showers, or in our new relaxation room.

We have 19 treatment rooms including a double treatment room as well as a gym, hair spa and beautiful gardens and grounds.

Our Spa Therapists offer a range of treatments in this perfect setting to day clients, residents and local members.

The Role

A passionate Spa Therapist is required to join our team of therapists providing a full range of facials, manicures, pedicures and body treatments, with a focus on ensuring guests have an amazing experience.

Our 25 therapist are selected to provide the very best treatments, supported by a Reservation and Spa Reception team and our experienced Spa Manager, Melissa. As well as excellent facilities we offer training, development and progression opportunities to match. Indeed Melissa is a product of that success. Joining us some years go, working across front of house departments before covering maternity leave for our last spa manager, taking over when she chose not to return. Melissa is now responsible for the operational success of our busy Utopia Spa.

As a Spa Therapist you will;

• Offering a full range of technical facial and body treatments during your shift
• Meeting and greeting the client on arrival
• Completing client consultation cards/information
• Taking the guest through the customer journey
• Explaining the treatment to be performed
• Ensuring the treatment is offered to the clients requirements
• Discussing retail products and beauty regime to enhance guests experience following their treatment
• Offering refreshments in the relaxation area on conclusion of the treatment
• Liaising with Spa Receptionists to ensure correct billing

Requirements

• Shifts include; 9.45am – 6.15pm, 10.45am – 7.15pm, 11.45am – 8.15pm
• 32 hrs over 4 days including weekend shifts
• NVQ Level 2 and Level 3 Beauty Therapy, or equivalent, is essential
• Completion of a trade test with the Spa Manager prior to recruitment
