Job summary

Moddershall Oaks in the United Kingdom is seeking a warm and proactive Front of House Receptionist to join our luxury spa team. You will be the first point of contact for guests, welcoming them and supporting check-in/check-out with accuracy while guiding their visit.

The role involves extensive use of booking and spa systems, a strong IT aptitude, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a busy environment. Massage qualification is preferred, but training can be funded by the business.

Qualifications

Job description

With a flair for customer service and previous reception experience, ideally gained within a hotel, spa or leisure setting, you will become a valued member of our busy front of house team.

As one of the first points of contact for our guests, you will play an important role in ensuring they receive a warm welcome and an exceptional experience throughout their visit. Your responsibilities will include managing check-in and check-out processes, handling guest enquiries and completing administrative tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.

The role involves extensive use of booking and operational systems, requiring strong IT skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a busy environment.

Importantly, this is not a traditional desk-based reception role. You will be actively involved throughout the spa, providing guest tours, attending to guest needs and ensuring our high standards of service are maintained.

We are ideally looking for someone who already holds a massage qualification, although this is not essential. Candidates without a qualification must be willing to undertake massage training, with the cost of the qualification fully funded by the business.

We are looking for someone who is proactive, adaptable and equally comfortable managing detailed administrative tasks as they are delivering hands-on guest service.

Hours: 40hrs/4.5 days per week
Salary: £13.26 per hour
4-week rolling rota: WK1 – Monday 1300-2200, Wednesday 0700-1600, Thursday 0800-1900, Friday 1300-2200. WK2 – Monday 1300-2200, Tuesday 0800-1900, Wednesday 0700-1530, Saturday 0700-1600, Sunday 0700-1600. WK3 – Monday 1300-2200, Wednesday 0700-1600, Thursday 0800-1900, Friday 0700-1530. WK4 – Monday 0700-1600, Tuesday 1300-2200, Wednesday 0800-1900, Saturday 1300-2200, Sunday 1300-2200
