Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in London for Assurance - Transaction Forensics, specializing in Sale & Purchase Agreements. You will lead M&A price adjustment analyses, liaise with clients and deal teams, and supervise a team through the transaction lifecycle.

The role offers exposure to high-profile deals, working with global clients, and opportunities for growth within EY’s Transaction Forensics practice in the UKI region.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified chartered accountant with international equivalence.
• Experience coordinating M&A transactions in a managerial capacity.
• Expertise in financial information analysis, including modelling, testing, and documenting financial scenarios.
• Project management and people management experience.
• Commercial awareness and ability to share industry knowledge.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver Transaction Forensics engagements within agreed timeline and budget.
• Adhere to Quality and Risk Management standards to ensure consistent, compliant work.
• Support negotiations with clients, delivering detailed and persuasive outputs.
• Provide deal-relevant insights leveraging technical and commercial expertise.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support pipeline development.
• Coach junior colleagues and manage performance throughout the year.
