Job summary

EY is recruiting for a UKI Assurance - Transaction Forensics Manager to lead and deliver M&A price adjustment engagements. You will coordinate with clients, bankers, and legal advisers, reviewing SPAs, Completion Accounts, and leakage, while guiding junior team members and ensuring adherence to EY quality standards.

The role emphasises transactional diligence, risk management, and strong negotiation capabilities to support deal outcomes across a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified as a chartered accountant e.g. ACA / ACCA / CA / ICAS / ICAEW or international equivalent.
• Experience coordinating M&A transactions in a managerial capacity.
• Expertise in financial information analysis, including modelling, testing, documenting financial scenarios and anticipating challenges.
• Project management and people management experience.

Responsibilities

• Managing and delivering Transaction Forensics engagements per agreed timeline and budget.
• Adhering to Quality and Risk Management (QRM) to ensure client work is delivered to EY standards.
• Supporting negotiations with clients throughout the transaction, delivering detailed outputs.
• Providing deal-relevant viewpoints and recommendations leveraging technical and commercial expertise.
• Building relationships with internal/external contacts to support the engagement pipeline.
