Job summary

Oxford Health is seeking a highly motivated Band 6 Nurse to join the Single Point of Access (SPA) team in a 37.5-hour, 5-day week community health setting. The role covers a 12-month fixed-term/secondment to cover maternity leave, with 08:00–16:00, 10:30–18:30, or 12:00–20:00 shifts across two bases in Banbury and Abingdon.

You will assess and triage patients, manage clinical risk and direct people to appropriate services such as Urgent Community Response, District Nursing, and community

Qualifications

• Registered health professional qualification.
• Educated to degree level or equivalent.
• Experience of line managing.
• Ability to communicate with those who may have a barrier to understanding.

Responsibilities

• Support safe and effective service delivery as a SPA clinician.
• Contribute to shift coordination, line management and staff development.
• Engage in service improvement and ensure high standards of patient care.
• Coordinate service delivery and work within a multidisciplinary team.
